While legislation grinds through our nation’s capital, dairies in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas are navigating the immigration crisis daily. And producers are hungry for solutions that work.

“Dairies navigate an Immigration Crisis in the Southwest” updated readers of Progressive Dairyman magazine on the legal issues surrounding immigration in 2018.  The article focused on Will Collier’s Snyder, Texas dairy.

A Lubbock, Texas ICE agent delivered papers to Collier’s dairy April 13, 2017, asking for I-9s. Collier was milking 2,200 cows and 75 percent of his employees didn’t check out.  Read the full article at
